Finishing the BAAM website

Finally we got to the end, today we were correcting all the mistakes. We also had to rethink the photo part of the website. I worked on that with Evi and Bettina, then the others joined us. We wrote the captions and Evi took a couple of more photos of those who have not been showed yet.
I think we are pretty close to the end, now the school's marketing section has to agree too.

Testing

Last class was all about testing, seeing whats wrong with the web site. We corrected everything we found as a mistake, so its getting good. We are doing the final steps, it looks interesting.

Putting the whole together

Today we made further steps towards the end: we started putting the website together. Using Dreamweaver we quickly got ahead. Another topic was to choose the photos for the website. It is looking good now, I really like the design. By next week it should be done, so we can start the final testing to make sure everything goes ok. I can't wait to see the whole together.

Working further

We are working more and more on the BAAM website. Some of us made pretty good animation figures to start with. We are still thinking of the layout and the texts. I am sure we will be much further with it by next week.

The First Step

Our last class was all about organizing and designing the BAAM website. It is gonna be under the IBS homepage, probably will gain attention so we must to a pretty good job. I think we are all working as a team and try to do our best. We talked about the design and how it should look like. The idea of making it as a Lichtenstein cartoon and design came up, I think we will stick to this.
I am looking forward to the next classes.

Starting BAAM website

I missed the last class, but I have already managed to finish my own webpage. Today was the due date, so we have already handed it in, tough some of us had some problems during putting it up to the server. I tried to do my best, tough I know it could have been a lot better if I know more about it .
Today we also started to work on the BAAM website, we were getting ideas about it, how it should be, etc. We got into different groups, like design, testing, photos and layout. I am in the testing group, making sure evrything goes fine, there are no mistakes and the website is working. I am looking forward to make our website, it should be fun.

Getting through the difficulties

As we learn more and more about Dreamweaver I realise that it is more difficult than I expected before. Dr. Phil is really helpful, and I obviously have some problems since this is the first time I am doing this. I am actually having fun, the website is due soon. I am planning to come in this week and do a huge amount of work on this. By Friday I will have all the materials, photos, designs I need, so It will be a lot easier. I am looking forward to it.

Starting our first webpage

Today's class was all about using Dreamweawer to make our new web page. This was only a practice tough, we learnet how to create a new HTML. We got to know how we can insert images, tables, hyperlinks, etc. I found it interesting and I think it went well.

Our next project is to create a real website for ourselves, so I must start brainstorming
about its design, what images I wanna show. We must make sketches as well. The ebsite is due in 2 weeks and I guess it will be a lot of work.

Starting our website

Today we started working on our website, this was the first time we used Dreamweaver. This is supposed to be a very useful and complicated program, I hope we will manage to get through it.
We learned some basics today, like how to create a new HTML using templates, etc.
We also had the chance to work with the Lightroom. Unfortunately we still have problems with computers, some programms are not installed.Im sure it will be done next week.

Having a web page is very useful and fun I think, until now I could have hardly imagine having my own one tough.

Our practical classes are Sculpture and Website design in this semester. Right now I am sitting in the latter's seminar and things are constantly crossing my mind.
I am techically a little ignorant.How does website design make me get over it?

In my opinion this class will give us the oppurtunity to develop our computer skills. As far as we are right now , we are dealing with popular and useful things, such as blogs. Until now I had no ide how to make a blog, tough I knew exactly what they are, etc. I found that it is very easy and interesting. We can put photos and videos up to make it more personal.
Studying Arts management I think it is important to get to know Website design more.
